For many children, summer break is not a time of freedom, but a period of loneliness and vulnerability. For Bris, it is also the time of year when more children reach out for support.

Our summer fundraising campaign reinterpreted a well-known Swedish school graduation tradition to highlight the children who do not look forward to the holidays, and the support Bris provides when schools close. While schools shut down for the summer, Bris stays open around the clock – but keeping counsellors available by phone and chat 24/7 requires significant resources. The campaign encourages donations to help Bris continue being there for children during the summer holidays.
